Cranksgiving Lancaster City is an Alley Cat style fun food drive by bicycle that benefits The Lancaster Food Hub and Bright Side Opportunities. All you need is a bike, lock, and a bag to carry food! Last year riders provided nearly 400lbs of goods for Lancaster Food Hub and fed over 300 people through Bright Side Opportunities Center!

For our 3rd annual event, we hope to go bigger than ever! Riders will be given a map with the location of grocery stores, and a shopping list. You will plot your route to as many stores as you’d like, purchasing the food on the shopping list along the way, and bringing the food to The Lancaster Food Hub by 11:30am. Riders should feel comfortable riding in open city streets and potentially heavy traffic.

There is no minimum to participate, however the rider(s) that go to the most stores, completes the most items from the shopping list, and returns to The Lancaster Food Hub with their groceries in the fastest time is the winner! Prizes for top 3 riders!
