Shifting
Gears
At the Common Wheel (TCW), we are all about bringing people together and making a positive impact through bikes. Our mission is simple: to use bicycles to empower people and transform our community in Lancaster County, PA. As a community nonprofit bike shop, our doors are open to everyone—no matter who you are or where you’re from.
Today, we’re asking for your support of our Shifting Gears Campaign which will propel The Common Wheel to new heights by ensuring our financial stability so that we can continue to give everyone in Lancaster opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive through the power of bicycles.
In 2024, TCW celebrated our 10th birthday and entering into a new phase as an organization. There are so many reasons to celebrate, but growing fast this year means we have new challenges.
We’re now operating three locations; Queen St. and King St. in Lancaster and Locust St. in Columbia.
With the exciting growth we’ve seen—like our new shop in Columbia and a new van to take our programs on the road—we’re reaching more people than ever. But we need your help to keep the momentum going. Together, we can keep making Lancaster County a better, more connected and equitable place through the simple joy and power of cycling.
We’d love to have you involved! Find a way that works for you…
Donate: Every dollar you give helps keep programs like Earn-a-Bike and Bikes for All rolling. Your support makes a real difference.
