Community Programs Women on Wheels

Our Women on Wheels program empowers the women/trans/femme community to become confident on a bike through social rides, classes, and bicycle maintenance training.

Participation in these classes, training, and special events offers women in Lancaster the chance to learn the basics of bicycle maintenance, develop safe bicycle riding skills, connect with other women in the Lancaster bicycle community, and aid women in feeling more comfortable bicycling on the road.

When Adriana first began riding she was enveloped in fear. A year later she was the ride leader for the 200+ participants in Slow Ride and the Women on Wheels program.
