Slow Ride Lancaster is a group of people who come together once a month on the fourth Friday At 7:00 pm to have fun by riding as a group through the streets of our fair city. The Slow Ride is for people of all ages, skill levels, and bike styles.

Riders begin gathering at 6:30 at Binns Park (unless otherwise noted) in Lancaster and follow an agreed upon route. The ride leaves Binns Park at 7. As the name states, it is a slow ride…generally 5 mph or so and we aim to ride for about an hour and a half. Rides are themed. Festive dress, bicycle adornments, and a jovial spirit are always encouraged. Rides end at a downtown location. The route and any pertinent news are posted prior to departure.

We ride as one group. Helmets and lights are encouraged.

So grab your favorite bike. Come join us. Take ownership. Make it yours. And, have a happy Friday!
